Her nickname "Ayaneru" was given to her by Okamoto Nobuhiko, because she sleeps (neru means sleep) a lot in her spare time.
She is known as a big fan of Kana Hanazawa, which is shown mainly during her early days as a voice actress.
She won the Best Supporting Actress and Best Personality Award in the 12th Seiyuu Awards together with fellow I'm Enterprise voice actress Saori Onishi.
