朱莉亚·麦肯齐

Julia McKenzie was born on February 17, 1938 in Enfield, Middlesex, England as Julia Kathleen Nancy McKenzie. She is known for her work on 丑闻笔记 (2006), 光彩年华 (2003) and Cranford (2007). She was previously married to Jerry Harte.

She was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1983 (1982 season) for Best Actress in a Musical, Guys and Dolls.

She was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1994 (1993 season) for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Sweeney Todd at the Royal National Theatre.

She was awarded the 1987 London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress for her performance in Woman in Mind.

Was nominated for Broadway's 1977 Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) for "Side by Side by Sondheim" (under the name "Julie N. McKenzie").

When she appeared on Broadway, she had to change her name to "Julie N. McKenzie" because of a conflict with a similarly named actress who was already a member of Actor's Equity, the American union for stage actors.
